Culpeper Star-Exponent: Culpeper Battlefield Tours Commemorate cavalry clash anniversary as state park opens

“Culpeper Battlefield Tours LLC commemorated the 161st anniversary of the Battle of Brandy Station with two special events June 8-9 — coinciding with the anticipated dedication weekend of the Culpeper Battlefields State Park.”

“On June 8, the local tour company held a trail ride on the Brandy Station Battlefield with volunteers from the Virginia Horse Council. Over 100 riders signed up to enjoy the seven-mile horse trail between Cunningham Farm Circle and St. James Church, according to a release. A grant from Virginia Horse Industry Board supporter the trail ride.”
